NEWPORT CAPO
The G7th Newport Partial 5 string guitar capo is a cut capo in the Newport Range combining a flip-lever action with a low-profile shape that doesn't get in the way of your fretting hand. It allows instant access to drop-D style tuning without retuning your instrument.
The cunningly concealed flip-lever design is perfect for heavy strings and high actions with a knob to dial in fine-tune tension adjustments while on the neck.
Quick-release
Improving on existing quick release designs the Newport flip lever allows you to attach and remove the capo easily and to adjust the tension while in place on the guitar neck.
Open-style tunings
Creates fast and easy open-style tunings without retuning. Place over the low E on fret 2 for drop-D style tuning or upside-down to leave the high E open for a drone effect. Then flip the lever to release and you're instantly back in standard tuning!
Safeguard your tone
Maintains the tone of your instrument thanks to our carefully engineered string pads designed to reduce vibration dampening and loss of tone.
Dial in the pressure
Thanks to the fine-tune adjustment knob the Newport capo delivers the right amount of pressure to your strings even over heavy strings or high actions. Spend less time retuning and more time playing!
