Paper in oil capacitors are fabled due to their use in vintage Gibsons. Many vintage tone chasers swear by paper in oil capacitors to achieve the most accurate recreations of their favourite tones throughout the 50s and early 60s.
These capacitors are made in Japan to an excellent quality and a price point far more reasonable than many modern paper in oil recreations.
