Conflagration single coil toned neck prototype. Used briefly. Slightly weaker than the production model, closer to the output of a single coil/paf.
This pickup is designed to duplicate as closely as possible a Strat tone from a humbucker sized package. It works with alnico rods in the slug bobbin and no magnetism in the screw bobbin, making it a dummy coil only to buck the hum.
